Team Thoroughbred NSW Training Academy is proud to offer the RGR40221 Certificate IV in Racing (Jockey) as a four year apprenticeship. The program involves both scheduled classroom learning activities and workplace based training and assessment. This program provides learners with advanced skills and knowledge required in order to develop their horse riding skills and knowledge, in addition to the handling, care and training of thoroughbred horses, and to improve their employment opportunities.
This qualification reflects those who are working as a jockey in a thoroughbred racing stable and are willing to learn and obtain advanced horse riding skills.
