Farm Manager

Emirates Park is a leading thoroughbred stud based in Upper Hunter Valley town of Murrurundi NSW.
Situated on 3000 acres and focused on breeding top class racehorses.

The role is for a day-to-day farm manager across all farm operations from cropping, pasture management, cattle management, machinery, property maintenance, repairs and Fencing.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and delegate a capable team of staff
- Pasture Management and creating yearly pasture plans.
- Yearly Fertiliser plans.
- Annual budgeting and planning with senior management.
- Maintain accurate business, farm and financial records.
- Fencing planning and construction
- Yearly Fertiliser plans.
- Daily Cattle Management
- Liaise with contractors
- Liaise with Department managers on daily basis.
- WHS Compliance
- Ordering parts and equipment

You’ll also demonstrate:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior livestock or farm management role, within a large-scale or mixed livestock enterprise.
- A practical, hands-on approach combined with the ability to lead, collaborate, and develop others.
- Sound financial acumen and operational management skills.
- Confident communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to safe work practices, growth and continuous improvement.
- Sound computer literacy; experience with Agriwebb is desirable.
