Armidale Stud is Tasmania's premier Thoroughbred nursery, proudly run by the fourth generation of the Whishaw family on a 1,000-acre property just outside the picturesque township of Carrick. Armidale Stud stands three resident stallions. During the breeding season, we foal down approximately 100 mares and sell around 40 yearlings throughout the yearling sales season in Victoria, Adelaide, and Tasmania. Our long-standing success is attributed not only to the unique environment and the quality of our bloodstock but also to the expertise and dedication of our passionate team.
