Experienced Bookkeeper

Blue Gum Farm is seeking an experienced bookkeeper, with thoroughbred knowledge, to join our team in Euroa, Victoria.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in Xero, and Ardex Essentials, with great attention to detail.
You are familiar with breeding, racing, and syndicating.
You work well by yourself, and in a team.
You think outside of the box, and strive for perfection, taking the time to self-educate along the way.
Job Responsibilities
General Bookkeeping: Processing accounts payable and receivable, handling credit card transactions, and performing daily bank reconciliations.
Software Proficiency: Xero, Hubdoc, Ardex Essentials, and Microsoft Office suite.
Payroll: Processing fortnightly payroll for staff.
Monthly Financial Reporting: Ensuring accuracy and managing financial records with monthly reporting to the management team.
Cost Management: Specifically managing, controlling and reviewing business costs, associating each entry to specific tracking centres.
Other Duties: Reviewing, researching and implementing solutions and internal controls to streamline the business and enhance performance, and performing general administrative tasks in addition to core financial duties.
Job Requirements
Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent organisational and data entry skills.
Proficiency with Xero and Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of general financial principles.
Remuneration based on experience.
This position is flexible with a Part-time or Full-time role available along with a hybrid working environment for the right person.
