Job Description
Mogumber Park is wishing to recruit additional staff for the 2024 stud season and upcoming yearling prep. We are specifically looking for an experienced stud hand but will consider an enthusiastic junior.
Job Responsibilities
General day to day feed up, waters etc. Bringing horses in for vetting, monitoring foals and mares preparing to foal. Handling and education of yearlings and foals. Specific responsibilities will vary depending on experience of the successful applicant.
Job Requirements
Several years experience in the thoroughbred industry.
Experience in handling and preparing yearlings and weanlings for sale.
Be confident in handling and educating foals.
Ideally, will have experience in handling stallions but this is not essential.
Have a keen eye for detail.
Be interested in learning all aspects of thoroughbred stud management.
Be able to work independently.
Be reliable, honest and have an excellent work ethic.
