Flight Co-Ordinator

A position is available for a Flight Co-Ordinator in our head office in Sydney. The successful applicant will be actively involved in the preparation of imports and exports of all breeds of horses and to be part of a dedicated team providing a professional and thorough service to our clients locally and overseas. This role is dynamic and varied and will include both administration and occasionally attending the airport when horses are arriving or departing.

You will be required to co-ordinate all necessary requirements and paperwork for flights into and out of Australia including the preparation and implementation of all requirements of the health certificates pertaining to each country. You will be dealing with vets, farriers, road transporters, Department of Agriculture representatives and pre-export quarantine farms in order to achieve a smooth and on time arrangement for export. Full training will be provided.

A minimum 3 year's experience in an administration role within the Equine Industry and a willingness to sometime work outside of regular hours to meet the needs of the business. Strong interpersonal skills expressed with effective communication both written and oral is a must. Hands on horse experience would also be viewed favorably.
