FOREPERSON – SNOWDEN RACING

An exciting opportunity at Snowden Racing is available for an experienced Foreperson/horse educator to join our team at our Randwick stable.

We require a strong and motivated team leader to manage the day to day running of one of our stable barns consisting of 25 horses.

We are situated in a prime location being 10 mins from the CBD, Bondi beach, Coogee beach & other coastal suburbs. Public transport is on our door step.

The successful applicant must be a competent horseman/woman with a strong passion for the Racing Industry.

The position is full time with early morning starts and rostered afternoon & weekend work.

Salary package will be determined on experience.

- Understanding and evaluation of the horse’s health and check for injuries;

-Monitor each horse’s nutritional needs and diet, recording eating habits;

-Organising staff in your Barn.

• Minimum 3 years experience within the Racing Industry as a Foreperson.

• Experience handling & educating young horses.

• Excellent communication & time management skills.

• Previous experience saddling on race days.
