General Stud Hand

Glen Gallic Stud is seeking motivated and reliable General Stud Hands to join our growing team at our thoroughbred breeding and spelling operation located in Martindale, NSW.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about horses and enjoy working outdoors in a hands-on farming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily care and handling of thoroughbred horses
Feeding and monitoring horse health and wellbeing
Cleaning stables, yards, and horse facilities
Assisting with mare and foal management during breeding season
Sale preparation and horse presentation

What We Are Looking For:

Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Previous horse handling experience preferred but not essential
Attention to detail and commitment to high standards of horse care
Current driver’s licence preferred
Willingness to work weekends on a roster basis
