Horse Trainer Polo

Gardenvale Polo, situated in Regional Australia at Frogmore in NSW are seeking an experienced full-time, Horse Trainer/Polo.
The purpose of role: To meet all aspects of the Australian Polo operation requirements of Finemore Pastoral and associated entity Gardenvale Polo and to support the international horse training, breeding and selection program.

Essential Criteria
• Extensive experience with all aspects of Polo operations
• Proven experience training polo ponies and developing a string of ponies fit for purpose
• Previous experience managing a team
• Proficient computer skills
• Polo tournament event management experience an advantage
• Ability to work autonomously with minimum instruction and direction
• Excellent communication and relationship managements skills
• Thorough understanding of pedigree selection of polo
• Adaptable and flexible to changing needs
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills
• Ability to support team members and operate collaboratively
• Ability to maintain confidential information and exercise discretion

An appropriate salary of between $75,000 and $80,000 will be offered.
