Job Description
North Bloodstock, located 12 minutes from Scone, are seeking an experienced Relief Foal Watch Attendant for the upcoming Breeding Season. This position will be from July through to mid-November, 2-3 nights per week. We are looking for a dedicated individual who has extensive experience with foaling down broodmares, as well as pre and post natal care.
The successful applicant will be engaged for a fixed term contract, with the potential for a full-time position post foaling season.
Job Responsibilities
Previous foaling experience with knowledge of normal and abnormal foaling positions and the ability to foal mares on your own.
Knowledge of veterinary procedures
Ability to work efficiently autonomously and within a team environment.
An understanding and appreciation of OH&S obligations.
Organisational and time management skills.
Accurate record keeping skills.
