Job Description
Exciting opportunities exist to join Torryburn Stud, an extremely well established, family run thoroughbred nursery with a focus of quality over quantity. We pride ourselves in gold level industry standard care.
We are looking for Stud Staff to join our breeding team, and for yearling handlers to help prep our graduates for the 2026 sales. This is a live on farm position.
Job Responsibilities
-Handling foals
-Dealing with pregnant mares
-Loading mares to go for cover
-Handling yearlings
-Grooming
-Showing horses to clients
-Feed runs when required
-Helping with vets/farrier
-Attending sales
Job Requirements
* Experience working with mares & foals and/or yearlings
* Prior experience in general horse care and stud farm duties
* Strong work ethic and the ability to work as part of a dedicated team
