Job Description
As we build our team, we are looking for a reliable and hands-on Stable Groom who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and well-run stable environment.
You will play a key role in the daily care and management of horses, assisting the team in Shows/Competitions, supporting overall stable operations and ensuring high standards are consistently maintained.
Job Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Daily feeding, watering, and general care of horses
- Mucking out stables, paddock maintenance, and yard upkeep
- Grooming, washing, and basic horse handling
- Tacking up and untacking horses
- Assisting with exercise routines (lunging/hand-walking if experienced)
- Monitoring horse health and reporting any issues promptly
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of equipment and facilities
- Assisting the team in Shows/Competitions

Job Requirements
- Previous experience working with horses (essential)
- Horse handling and grooming skills
- Willingness to work weekends/public holidays as required
- Experience with performance or showjumping horses
- Ability to ride or assist with training
- Knowledge of horse health, feeding, and stable management
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliability and punctuality
