Job Description
Immediate Start
Seeking a stable hand for a short period (approximately three weeks) to assist with general stable hand duties at a thoroughbred agistment and pre-training farm. We are located in the lower Hunter Valley only 50 minutes from Newcastle. Self-contained accommodation available and there is work for one or a couple.
Job Responsibilities
General stable hand duties including feeding, cleaning stables and yards, feed up run, loading horse walker and hosing horses, water trough cleaning.
Job Requirements
Previous experience with horses is preferred and references are essential.

ABOUT Luskin Park
Luskin Park is a boutique breeding, spelling and pre-training facility owned and operated by multiple Group One-winning trainer Matthew Smith and his wife Melissa.
Comprising of 200 acres of river-front pasture, the facilities on the farm have been extensively upgraded including the installation of horse rail fencing, the construction of a new stable complex, along with a 500m deep sand track, barriers, 50m x 80m purpose-built exercise arena and treadmill. New on-farm accommodation and staff facilities have also been added.
The farm is also home to small broodmare band.
