Stable Staff & Experienced Riders – Scone

Stable Staff & Experienced Riders.
Full time and Part time positions available.
Share house accommodation may be available.

Example of duties include;

Attention to detail for care of horses
Attending race days / barrier trials
Cleaning boxes / barns / yards
Taking temperatures
Preparing horses for trackwork
Feeding, hays and waters
Taking horse to / from racecourse
Loading / unloading walker
Care of tack / rugs / stable equipment
Riders: Ability to ride 8 – 10 horses per morning

Reliable private transport is a must as there is no local public transport available

Riding Skills: a strong emphasis on riding pace/timed work.

Team Player: Must be capable of working effectively and efficiently both as part of a team and independently.

Successful applicants will need to have contactable references. A current CV will be requested.

International applicants are encouraged to apply, though must have a valid visa and documents as well as a good understanding of the English language.
