YEARLING LEADERS – Stud & Stable Hand Position – WHV 88 Days Eligible

Watershed Farm & Bowness Stud are looking for a highly capable and confident yearling leaders to join our team at a busy farm located near Young, NSW. This is a role for someone with extensive, hands-on experience handling young, unbroken horses, particularly those with a background in the sales, racing or performance industry.

The role includes:
Educating and handling well-bred, unbroken weanlings and yearlings for sales preparation
Leading, grooming, and preparing horses for sales and inspections
General horse care, feeding, maintenance and farm duties

You must have:
Strong horse handling experience – especially with young, unbroken or green horses;
The ability to work safely, calmly, and confidently around valuable livestock;
A proactive, hardworking attitude and willingness to help across all areas of the farm;
Good communication, honesty and posiive teamwork skills.

Minimum commitment: 4+ months
Accommodation available
Eligible for 88-day regional work (Working Holiday Visa)
Not a job for beginners – must have extensive horse experience with references.
