Job Description
Newgate Farm has positions available on either the broodmare or yearling preparation teams.
Opportunities to attend major yearling sales for the right candidates.
Attractive remuneration and rosters -remuneration will be experience dependent.
Accommodation provided.
Start dates for yearlings mid-October. Anytime for mares.
Only short-listed candidates will be contacted.
Job Responsibilities
Broodmares
Including but not limited to:
- care for mares and foals
- holding for vets and farriers
- feed runs
- foal watch
- muck out yards and stables
Yearling Prep
- care for yearlings
- exercising and grooming
- stable cleaning
- muck out stables
- feed runs
- presenting yearlings for clients and buyers
Including but not limited to:
- care for mares and foals
- holding for vets and farriers

Job Requirements
Previous stud experience is preferred but not essential.
