Job Description
North Bloodstock, located 12 minutes from Scone, are seeking an experience Stud Hand.
While previous experience working with mares and foals is preferred as we ideally need a senior staff member, it is not essential. Comprehensive training will be provided, and you will be supported by an experienced team committed to helping you develop your skills and grow within the industry.
This is a full-time role, and salary will be based on experience. Accommodation within the town of Scone can be provided if required.
Job Responsibilities
Assisting vet and farriers.
Applying treatments based on capabilities and experience.
Attention to detail of horse’s health and behaviour.
Monitoring and assisting in foaling of mares.
Taking pride in presentation of horses and property.
Opportunity to assist with yearling preparation.
Job Requirements
A passion and enthusiasm for the horses and your day-to-day work.
Good communication organisation and time management skills.
