Truck Driver HR – Experience with Handling Stud Horses

Are you an experience HR Truck Driver with stud horse handling experience looking to work in a rewarding role in a beautiful rural setting?
We are currently seeking reliable and skilled Truck Drivers to join our operations team at a well-established Stud Farm in the Upper Hunter Valley. This role is ideal for someone who is confident working around valuable horses and comfortable driving and maintaining horse transport vehicles. Some interstate travel may be required.

You will be responsible for transporting horses safely and assisting with loading and unloading stud horses. The role also involves maintaining vehicles, working closely with farm staff, and ensuring the highest standards of safety and horse welfare are maintained.
Required Skills & Experience
Heavy Rigid (HR) Licence or willingness to obtain one
Proven experience handling stud horses, including loading and unloading
Current Driver's Licence
Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident living in Australia
Full Australian working rights
Excellent command of English and strong communication skills
Ability to work both independently and within a team
Strong Attention to detail and time management skills
Mechanical aptitude for minor maintenance and repairs
Commitment to Work Health and Safety procedures

Working Conditions
Early mornings and occasional weekend work
Physically active role including lifting, bending and extended periods standing
Some interstate travel may be required.
