Job Description
It’s an exciting time to join the team at Widden Stud for our 2026 Yearling Sale Preparations as we embark on what we hope will be another highly successful yearling season with our high-class crop of yearlings.

Job Responsibilities
- Leading, parading, and educating yearlings in preparation for sales.
- Assisting with exercise routines and handling during farrier and veterinary visits.
- Monitoring health, condition, and behaviour; promptly reporting any concerns.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised stable environment.
- Following safety and welfare protocols to ensure the highest standards of horse care.
Job Requirements
- Horse handling experience – the team is eager to teach & expand on these skills for those wanting to learn
- Good, motivated work ethic and a positive, fun outlook
- Someone who will immerse themselves into the team culture on the farm
