Yearling Preparation Team Member

If you are passionate about horses and love working in a beautiful and hands on environment, Milburn Creek, one of Australia’s leading boutique thoroughbred farms, is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Yearling Preparation Team Member to join are dedicated crew, for this sales season.
We are a farm large enough to be significant, but small enough to be able to offer a tailored environment to individual horses. We also appreciate the contribution good employees make to a successful operation.
At Milburn Creek we pride ourselves on producing and offering small quality drafts of yearlings for all major sales in a supportive, professional and positive workplace.
You will be part of a close knit-team committed to the highest standards of horse care and presentation.
This position has the opportunity for a candidate to progress into a senior role.

Hands on involvement in the daily care, handling and grooming of yearlings.
Assisting with yearling exercise, education and preparation for the major Sales.
Working as a team to ensure horses are cared for and reach their full sale potential.
General stable duties and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Experience and confidence handling yearlings.
A positive attitude, strong work ethic and strong attention to detail.
Team player who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in their work.
Reliability and a love for horses.
