Assistant Foreman/Ground Staff

We are seeking an Assistant Foreman to join our professional thoroughbred beach training stable based in Bobs Farm, NSW. (45mins from Newcastle)
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced horse person looking to step into a leadership role within a successful racing operation which includes caring for G1 horses.

Assist in the daily running of the stable.
Supervise and support stable staff during morning and afternoon shifts.
Oversee feeding, grooming, rugging and general horse care.
Monitor horse health and report any concerns to the trainer.
Saddle horses for trackwork, trials and race days.
Assist with race day and trial preparations.
Maintain clean, safe and organised stable facilities.
Coordinate with veterinarians, farriers and other service providers.
Help ensure the stable operates efficiently while maintaining excellent animal welfare standards.
