Job Description
Lindsay Park Racing is seeking experienced Stablehands to join our teams at our Euroa and Pakenham stables, as well as an experienced Barn Leader to join our Pakenham operation.

Job Responsibilities
Provide high-quality care and daily handling of thoroughbred racehorses.
Assist with all aspects of stable duties, including grooming, feeding, cleaning and general horse care.
Safely handle horses in a variety of situations.
Assist with daily stable routines and preparation of horses for work.
Maintain a clean, safe and organised stable environment.
Follow Lindsay Park Racing procedures, safety requirements and horse welfare standards.
Work effectively as part of a team.
Barn Leader – Pakenham
Lead and support the day-to-day operations of the allocated barn.
Supervise and support Stablehands within the team.
Ensure horses receive a high standard of care and attention.
Coordinate daily stable duties and workloads.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety and organisation.
Support the implementation of stable procedures and workplace standards.
Communicate effectively with management, trainers and stable staff.
Lead by example and contribute to a positive team culture.
Job Requirements
Previous experience working with thoroughbred horses is highly regarded.
Competent and confident in all aspects of horse handling and care.
Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Reliable, punctual and committed to working as part of a team.
Ability to work safely and effectively in a busy racing environment.
Genuine interest in the thoroughbred racing industry.
Commitment to horse welfare, workplace safety and Lindsay Park Racing standards.
Barn Leader – Pakenham
Previous experience in a thoroughbred racing stable.
Demonstrated experience in a leadership or senior stablehand role.
Strong horse-handling and horse-care skills.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Ability to lead, motivate and support a team.
Strong understanding of workplace safety and horse welfare.
Professional, reliable and positive approach.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced racing environment.
