Job Description
Polo grooming position available.
This is to care for a string of polo ponies based in the Hawkesbury, NSW.
No prior experience in polo is required however being a confident rider is a must.
Job is 6 days per week (Monday is the day off)
Opportunity to learn and grow.
Applicant must be able to commit to Late July – Mid November (with the opportunity to continue)
Job Responsibilities
Key responsibilities:
• Oversee the daily care and management of polo horses, ensuring their health, fitness, and overall well-being.
• Coordinate and schedule grooming, feeding, exercise, and veterinary care for horses.
• Liaise with contractors, including farriers and veterinarians, to schedule and oversee routine and emergency visits, ensuring the health and performance of our horses.
• Maintain inventory and manage supplies related to horse care, ensuring adequate stock levels at all times.
• Assist with general farm duties and maintenance tasks as needed.

The right person will posses:
• Extensive experience working with horses in a professional setting.
• Have a can do attitude and be a team player.
• Knowledge of animal husbandry practices, including nutrition, health care, and grooming techniques.
• Be able to follow direction and work autonomously when required.
• Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and priorities effectively and problem-solving skills.
• Driver’s license
