Racing Manager

Myrtle House requires a part time Racing Manager to support our 35 horse operation spread between Hawkesbury and Flemington. The role will be broader than traditional roles and experience in the industry, knowledge of all Provincial Racing Authorities (Racing NSW, Racing Victoria, Queensland Racing et al) and key stakeholders within breeding, administration and racing will be essential.

This role is part time only, allowing the candidate the opportunity to manage other interests or similar roles for other stables. As our stable grows, the potential for a move into a full time role will exist. As stated, experience across the many facets of the broader Racing and Breeding industry is essential and maintaining/developing relationships with stakeholders across all of those facets will be necessary.

Needless to say, the successful candidate will require polished communications skills, the initiative to create their own work where they can see it is required and the ability to plan ahead of time to help the stable operate smoothly.
