Job Description
DPR is seeking motivated individuals who are looking for a career with horses that enables them to learn and grow. This role is ideal for anyone looking to learn about foundation training, education and problem solving with horses. Our team is built on regular training, close working relationships and a determination to get the best out of every horse.
Daniel Robinson is a highly respected educator in the equine industry, and the team that supports him learn how to communicate and work with horses effectively, refine their own skills, and become horsemen/horsewomen in their own right. Our business is highly focused on the development of young thoroughbreds as well as some select performance horses. We start, further educate and develop young thoroughbreds for their career ahead. We focus heavily on horses we train at any age having a great base of understanding and confidence in their training. We provide a natural, relaxed atmosphere for horses, with a considerate approach to training regimes, diets, socializing, regular paddock turnout and more.

Job Responsibilities
With 40-50 horses training each day, you will groom for one of our senior riders, providing an exceptional level of care: grooming, saddling, taking temperatures, hosing, treating any injuries or ailments etc.
You will be responsible for feeding horses, cleaning yards and stables and maintaining tidy workspaces.
You will learn how to improve your handling and groundwork training skills, so that you can be effective progressing horses in all aspects of their education. From how they lead beside you, to leg handling, to body control and teaching softness in their responses.
If your riding is up to requirement, you will ride horses, developing their knowledge, exposure and confidence through a variety of training such as flat work, trail riding and more.

Previous work experience is favored, but not essential if you come from a good horse background.

Backing onto to National Park, close to central coast beaches and 1 hour from Sydney.
We work with horses for all disciplines, and our goal is to educate horses with willingness and confidence.
A small team of passionate horsemen and women.
