Senior Foreman/Ground staff or Track work rider/Foreman.

We are seeking a senior stable hand/foreman to join our professional thoroughbred beach training stable based at Bobs Farm, NSW. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced horse person looking to step into a leadership role within a successful racing operation with caring for G1 horses.

We are also seeking an experienced track work rider. This can be for 3 months or long term. Someone highly experienced can also take on the Foreman role.
You MUST HAVE track work experience and provide a reference in Australia to validate your experience.

Assist in the daily running of the stable working alongside ground staff in their daily routine including cleaning yards etc.
Supervise and support stable staff during morning and afternoon shifts.
Oversee feeding, grooming, rugging and general horse care.
Monitor horse health and report any concerns to the trainer.
Saddle horses for trackwork, trials and race days and assist with race day and trial preparations.
Maintain clean, safe and organised stable facilities.
Coordinate with veterinarians, farriers and other service providers.
Help ensure the stable operates efficiently while maintaining excellent animal welfare standards.

This is a senior role for an experienced horse person.
Working directly under the trainer as his right-hand person.
Knowledgeable, extremely capable and trustworthy as this role includes an extreme amount of responsibility.
Committed to living local and putting in the hours and the hard work to ensure the stable runs to high standards.

We have single room accommodation in our staff house
This is a long term position. We can NOT DO 88 days or Sponsor those outside of Australia.
