Stud and Stable Hand – WHV Eligible – Available to Start Now

Watershed Farm & Bowness Stud are looking for a highly capable and confident thoroughbred horse handler to join our team at a diverse farm located near Young, NSW to start now. This is a role for a confident horse handler with hands on experience with young horses particularly those with a background in the breeding, racing or performance industry.

The role includes:
Assisting with the foaling and breeding season, medicating, treatments and helping with vetting;
Educating and handling young, unbroken horses (foals, weanlings, yearlings);
Leading, grooming, washing and preparing horses for future sales and inspections;
General horse care, feeding, maintenance and farm duties;
Grooming, lunging, leading, washing yearlings for sales preparation.

Details:
Minimum commitment: 4+ months – please only apply if you can stay for this entire period or longer
Accommodation available
Eligible for 88-day regional work (Working Holiday Visa)
