This position would ideally suit a driven person wishing to further their experience in the industry with a goal of learning all facets of the day to day running of a professionally run broodmare farm.

Being part of a team looking after all classes of horses from broodmares , yearlings and foals.
Daily care of horses and all tasks involved.
Handling horses calmly and confidently.
Assisting with foaling, broodmare reproduction procedures and yearling preparation.
Monitoring horses health and behaviour
Applying basic horse care treatments.
Supporting Veterinary and Farrier visits.
Following all work place and Safety procedures.
Taking pride in presentation of both horses and the property.

Horse care and handling experience, preferably with thoroughbreds.
Positive attitude, a strong work ethic and a genuine love of horses and the industry.
Reliability with good communication skills.
A team player who can also show initiative and work independently.
