Track work rider

Harding Stable is currently seeking a highly experienced and capable track work rider to join our team.
The stable is located at Bobs Farm, NSW. Which is 45 mins from Newcastle.
Horses are ridden daily on the beach and on our private track.
Accommodation is available in our staff house with a private room and shared facilities.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
Experience in riding racehorses in track work & able to ride 10+ horses per morning.
Knowledge and experience of horse training and handling methods specific to thoroughbred racing
Proven ability to train and educate young horses
Oral and written communication skills of a level to take instruction and provide information
Ability to work in a team, and independently
Sound knowledge of health and safety obligations relevant to the training and preparation of racehorses
Proven as reliable workers, with excellent horsemanship skills and attention to detail.

We can provide: A happy working environment riding some proven exceptional racehorses.

: Option for Sponsorship after the employee has worked for us

We can NOT provide: 88 days towards the Working holiday visa.
: Sponsorship for workers currently overseas.
: Training for inexperienced riders.
