Job Description
Segenhoe Stud Australia is seeking experienced stud hands to join our team for the upcoming yearling/weanling sale preparations.
Job Responsibilities
The responsibilities will include but not limited to:
-Handling yearlings/weanlings
-Grooming
-Showing horses to clients
-Feed runs when required
-Helping with vets/farrier
-Attending sales
-Handling yearlings/weanlings

Job Requirements
The successful applicant will have previously worked on a thoroughbred stud farm and be well versed in the day to day care of young horses from foals through to yearlings.

Segenhoe Stud is a boutique broodmare/consignment farm based in the Hunter Valley. Recent graduates include Merchant Navy, In Secret, Pride of Jenni, Amelia’s Jewel and the very exciting Joliestar. Segenhoe Studs 2024 yearling consignments consisted of a record 10 individual million dollar yearlings and this years crop looks just as special.
