Job Description
Segenhoe Stud Australia is seeking experienced stud hands to join our team for the upcoming breeding season/yearling sale preparations.
Job Responsibilities
The responsibilities will include but not limited to:
-Handling foals
-Dealing with pregnant mares
-Loading mares to go for cover
-Handling yearlings
-Grooming
-Showing horses to clients
-Feed runs when required
-Helping with vets/farrier
-Attending sales
-Handling foals
-Dealing with pregnant mares

Job Requirements
The successful applicant will have previously worked on a thoroughbred stud farm and be well versed in the day to day care of young horses from foals through to yearlings.

Segenhoe Studs 2024 yearling consignments consisted of a record 10 individual million dollar yearlings and we continue to be one of the leading consignments in Australia.
