Job Description
Yulong Stud is seeking a passionate and experienced horse person to join our team at our Yulong Park property, as a full-time Stud Hand. Located at Bayles Victoria, close to the picturesque Mornington Peninsula.
Job Responsibilities
Reporting to the Property Manager, your duties would include but not be limited to:
• Daily stud tasks such as feeding, checking horses, paddock and stable maintenance, and horse movements
• Administering treatments including drenching and assisting with vaccination protocols
• Bandaging horses as required, under the direction or supervision of the Veterinarian and Property Manager.
• Assisting with the care and handling of horses during visits from Veterinarians, Farriers, Dentists, etc.
• Supporting general farm maintenance when needed.
• Completing other ad-hoc tasks as required.

Job Requirements
• Previous experience in the Thoroughbred industry (preferred).
• A current full driver’s license.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• A hardworking, reliable, and friendly personality, with a passion for horse care.
