McEvoy Mitchell Racing is seeking a Bloodstock & Sales Manager to join our team and play a key role in the growth of our ownership base and sale of our horses. This position will be based out of our Flemington stable at the iconic Flemington Racecourse, with some travel to Ballarat.

This role combines bloodstock, sales, and client experience, supporting the acquisition of horses, managing sales campaigns, and building strong, lasting relationships with owners. The position-holder will also attend yearling sales as part of the buying bench, contributing to the sourcing and selection of horses.

The primary focus of this role is to ensure all MMR horses are fully subscribed. Working closely with the trainers, Racing Manager, and wider team, the Bloodstock & Sales Manager will coordinate the sales process from purchase through to ownership placement, while also contributing to the ongoing engagement and experience of our owners.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of Bloodstock and Sales within the business, working alongside Melbourne Cup Winning Trainers Tony & Calvin McEvoy to drive sales and client engagement with scope to contribute to the ongoing growth of the stable & our ownership base.

Middlebrook Valley Lodge is a leading thoroughbred nursery 10 minutes from Scone, the horse capital of Australia. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Manager to continue our recent growth and continued presence within the thoroughbred industry. This role is primarily responsible for new client procurement and identifying business opportunities across all sectors of the thoroughbred industry.

Ideally suited to an experienced industry professional with strong knowledge of the Australian thoroughbred racing and breeding landscape, the successful candidate would report to Stud Management and be joining an established and proven team.

We are seeking a highly capable and experienced groom to join our high-performance showjumping stable, Turiya Farms, as a Head Groom (Byron Bay Hinterland)

This is a full-time role within a professional team working with top-level horses competing nationally. The successful candidate will travel with the team to major competitions across Australia, and potentially internationally in the future.

You will be working 5 days per week, with split shifts across the day in line with stable routines.

We are looking for someone confident, efficient, and highly organised who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

The role includes:

• Full responsibility for the daily care and management of 10 horses, primarily performance horses
• Daily grooming and presentation of horses to a high standard
• Feeding, rugging, and structured daily care routines
• Administering medications and managing horse health programs
• Monitoring condition and identifying early signs of issues
• Coordinating with vets, farriers, physios, and other specialists
• Treadmill work, lunging, and assisting with exercise programs
• Full competition preparation and show grooming
• Cryotherapy, laser therapy, massage and recovery treatments, and equine nebuliser use
• Property maintenance including stables, arenas, and general upkeep
• Stock management and feed and supplement ordering
• Supporting travel logistics and competition operations

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has minimum 3+ years experience in a professional showjumping or performance stable
• Is confident handling a range of horses, including young horses and stallions
• Has strong knowledge of horse health, feeding, and daily management
• Is highly organised, proactive, and able to multitask under pressure
• Takes pride in presentation and attention to detail
• Can work both within a team and independently
• Holds a Heavy Rigid (HR) licence, or is willing to obtain one
