Bowness Stud and Watershed Farm (near Young, NSW) require an experienced and confident horse handlers of young thoroughbred horses, to start 21st March 2025.

The role involves yearling sale preparation (teaching young unbroken thoroughbred horses to walk out and stand for sale parades), grooming, washing, feeding, medicating, cleaning yards and stables plus checking horses wellbeing. Must show previous experience with horses and references on resume. An honest, hardworking and enthusiastic team player preferred.

Arrowfield Stud, located in Scone NSW, is seeking an Area Manager to join our management team. This is a full-time position.

Arrowfield is an Australian-owned and operated family business producing high-quality thoroughbreds since 1985. The area manager role entails overseeing day-to-day care and managing breeding stock and associated staff.

Previous experience in a similar role is essential, however, training can and will be provided to further develop the successful applicant’s skill set.

We are seeking an addition to our team to prepare the daily feeds for our racehorses as well as managing the stock/feed inventory.

This is a full time position that you would be required to commit to early morning starts and some afternoon shifts in our busy racing stables located in Cranbourne.

Horse / livestock experience & knowledge required.

You need to be fit & capable to lift chaff/feed bags, ~ 25kgs, and assist with the unloading of deliveries.
