Job Description
We are seeking a Farm Manager, ideally this position would suit a couple who has the experience to cover each component required to successfully fill this position.
The job comes with a 3 bedroom house and competitive salary.
Job Responsibilities
The manager would be responsible for the day to day running of the farm such as
* horse movements & liaising with trainers
* managing hospital discharges and vet reports
* horse medications
* staff delegation
* managing dietary requirements of horses spelling & confinement
* managing horses on confinement box and yard rest.
* the general upkeep of the farm
* data entry and monthly invoicing
* social media and owner updates
* managing farriers/vets & dentists
* managing trades

Job Requirements
*Extensive vet nursing experience, comfortable with injection IM & IV and bandaging wounds and administration of oral meds
*Familiar with MYOB accounting or similar.
*Professional horse handling skills, able to handle colts, yearlings and strong horses
*Professional eye for detail
*Farm maintenance experience, mowing, chainsaw and tractor for high standard of property upkeep
*truck license would be looked on favourably
